An abundance of anti-oxidants in a cup, white tea is classified as rare and is picked in spring on only a few select mornings each year. White tea is only lightly processed, resulting in a light smooth flavour and low caffeine level.
Ingredients:
Chinese white tea.
Brewing:
Place one level teaspoon of tea per cup into a teapot or infuser. Boil water and allow to stand for 1-2 minutes (this prevents scolding of the leaves which can cause bitterness). Infuse for 3-5 minutes. Best without milk.
