The unique and sensational nut-like flavour of this Japanese classic is due to the addition of roasted rice and corn in a green tea base. Commonly served in Japanese restaurants.
Ingredients:
Japanese green tea, roasted rice, corn.
Brewing:
Place one level teaspoon of tea per cup into a teapot or infuser. Boil water and allow to stand for 1-2 minutes (this prevents scolding of the leaves which can cause bitterness). Infuse for 3 minutes. Best without milk.
